2019 Registration FAQ
For whom is the conference designed for?
The Western Canada Conference on Soil Health & Grazing is designed for producers and industry representatives but is open to anyone with interest in the agriculture industry.
How to Register?
To register you will have two options. The first option is to register by downloading the printable registration form and mailing the form and a cheque with the correct amount to C.A.R.A. at Box 690, Oyen, AB. The second option is to register online (using your credit card), if you register online you will have the additional fees from Eventbrite.
Early bird registration
Any conference tickets purchased after October 31st, 2019 will have an additional $50 fee added to each registration. If any additional information is needed to complete the registration process a committee member from the Western Canada Conference on Soil Health & Grazing will contact you.
Is the Banquet Ticket(s) included in my registration pass?
No, the Wednesday, December 11 evening Banquet ticket(s) is not included with any of the registration passes. To order banquet tickets please add the option to your registration order or contact the C.A.R.A. office at 403-664-3777.
Are Accommodations included?
No, accommodations are not included in the registration ticket and are up to the attendee to arrange. If you wish to book a room at the conference hotel, we have arranged conference room rates with the DoubleTree by Hilton & Home2Suites by Hilton. To find the accommodations rates please Click HERE
What if I have to cancel?
Refunds minus 25% administration fee will be given up until November 15, 2019. After November 15, 2019, no refunds will be given but can be transferred to another person. Please notify the CARA office if you do need to cancel. If there is a waitlist for registration we may coordinate a ticket transfer, if there is no waitlist it is up to the ticket holder to find a replacement. You will still need to notify the organizers of whom you have transferred the ticket to (see below for instructions).
Can I transfer my registration if I can not attend?
You can transfer your registration before November 22, 2019, by calling the C.A.R.A. office at 1-403-664-3777 or by emailing cara-3@telus.net. After the November 22, 2019 deadline, If you do have to transfer your ticket please have the new attendee claim your registration on-site and we will make a new name badge at the conference. The conference pass confirmation number is required to transfer any name(s) badges.
How does a company become a sponsor?
Sponsorship and tradeshow booths are on a first come first served basis and are limited by the tradeshow room space. Please view our Sponsor page for more details. CLICK HERE
Can a student help with the conference?
We have room for only a few student assistants for the conference and it is based on a first come first served basis. You must be able to prove that you are a student at a Canadian University or College. You will only reserve the right to attend on the day that you are assisting and not the entire conference. Travel and accommodations will be up to the student to arrange at their own expense.
Can I attend, even if I am not from Canada?
We welcome all to attend the conference, but we will not be granting any travel letters or visas to attendees. If you are from outside of Canada please either pay online or contact the CARA office to arrange payment.
Will visas be given out to attendees to attend?
No, our committee will not be granting any letters or visas (travel, visitors, etc) to host an out of country attendee. It is up to the attendee to arrange there own documents that are required to travel.
